Our 1st Newsletter for a Year.

I know that some of you have been complaining that we do not send you enough information but with all the spam out there we feel that its only necessary to send you out sazoo newsletters when we have something really relevant to share with you so hence the update today. I hope you all enjoy the information contained within this latest release and that you find some useful resources.

You Tube Fun.

We added a funny clip to you tube - share it with us! It adds a new dimension to a baby scan with its novel approach. However, Michael Schumacher might not be able to keep up with this one!

New Catalogue.

We've been threatening to update our catalogue for quite a while now. Customers are always wary of updates as popular lines may be replaced and therefore no longer available. We have held off for quite a while now but in the next month you should see quite a few new lines. There are only 61 products on the website currently and our store covers an immense 2500 lines so we will have to find some time to update the site.

Popular Lines.

Have you ever wondered what is the most popular item in our catalogue. Well, G19 and H22 both waistcoat sets have been selling like hotcakes. We received 8 orders for size 12 months in 1 day only for H22 which shows the popularity of this product.

Happy New Year!

It's now been 7 years that we have been on line. Our customers now cover the entire world with almost 100 countries. I think crudely speaking that some achievement. We would like to wish all our customer and Happy and Prosperous New Year.

Yellow Pages and Yell.com!

This is the first Year that we decided to do some advertising. Although business was good we thought that we would try to extend our coverage. Especially on the website we have been inundated with orders and have seen a significant boost to sales.

Move and Renaming!

We decided that we would move premises after 18 years in the same place and also to make things easier we renamed all our business to sazoo. You can now visit our store at 34AB Eagle Centre, Derby. DE1 2AZ England. Our Previous addresses were 11BC and 12AB Eagle Centre, Derby. We have included some pictures on our About Us page so you can see how the inside of the store looks.

Updated ordering system!

We've updated the way the software works and ensured that credit card transactions are fully verified before orders are released. We always validate all purchases and ensure that the people ordering are verified. This is to protect ourselves and also our customers as this way we ensure our products are value for money.

Updated Catalogue!

We added more items to the catalogue. There are now 59 products to choose from. We will soon be extending this to over 100 products and aim to reach over 200 to compare with our store range. We have more categories including, boys, girls, unisex, accessories, seasonal and special offers. Have a look, maybe you can find a bargain.

New Updated Site!

Well nearly 6 years on and we have out grown our current site and had it refreshed to match the needs of the ever growing internet. Our shoppers have been the driving force telling us things that they would like adding. This includes mailing lists, recommend a friend, news items and a full selection of resources. You can have a look at these by selecting from the top options on this main screen. To elaborate a little more; the news section now contains interesting articles which are mostly relating to childrenswear. These articles were written by a content writer who specialises in this type of information. For the resources section we have tried to provide some useful information and tools for our customers. Naturally it contains testimonials, games, rate or review our site, blog, rss feed and also a great slide show where you can view a selection of products that are included in the catalogue. If you are struggling to find the right size for your child then we have provided a size guide to give you an estimation of which group you should select from. There are other numerous interesting sections that you can have a look at to keep you interested.

Re-opening of Sazoo!

Now that we managed to get more time to spend with Sazoo we decided to re-open the ordering system. It's a long time passed and we were still getting lots of emails with people asking if there was any chance we could supply them with an item from the catalogue for their special occasion. Nearly all those orders we kept as we don't like letting people down - especially on their Special day!

Sazoo Store Suspension!

Due to store and other commitments we have had to suspend the ordering system due to the sheer amount of orders being received. Have a look through the testimonials to see some of the places where we were receiving orders from. Its amazing the diversity of customers, if I look at some of the extremes then there is Hollywood USA, Australia, Japan, Argentina even Royalty! There were so many orders that we only managed to get 1 in 100 emails onto the testimonials page - sorry to those that did not appear.

The range now stands at 96 products. We have included new products that will be available from our summer range with exciting new colours and styles.

Sazoo is Launched!

After 12 years of trading we decided it was time to seek further areas of trade. The internet is a wonderful place. You can find absolutely everything. We launched with only 32 products. Our first customer was from Cheshire and she purchased A44 a Paisley Wedding Waistcoat and Cravat Set for £25 on 28th November 2000.

Rename!

Kids Klub becomes Misio. It still focused on the same product categories but needed a new boost to its branding.

Expansion!

The continued growth made us decide that we would focus our efforts in specific directions. So, Mary's Childrenswear specialised in Girls outfits, and Kids Klub focused on Boys and Toys.

Second Outlet!

Due to the growth of the business we decided to introduce a second outlet to our portfolio. As part of our branding we decided to run this business under a different name which was Kids Klub. As the growth was significant we decided that we would introduce toys to our range.

Renaming!

We decided to rename our store brand to Mary's Childrenswear.

New Business Venture!

1988 was an interesting year for us. We diversified into a new business category - children's clothing although we adapted very quickly and most effectively. This was our first outlet which was a market stall in Derby with a great position in the Eagle Centre Market.
